Duties and Responsibilities:


Plans, organizes and carries out activities in the following areas: software installation; system administration, operation and maintenance; systems integration; task management; contributing to strategic planning; technological monitoring and professional development; plus other related areas.

This position has a primary focus on the support and implementation of the technical infrastructure for Enterprise Applications.


Qualifications:


The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • A thorough knowledge of computing technology and a high level of technical expertise in an area of constant change.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, including the ability to think logically through complex procedural and systems processes is required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, adapt to changing environments, possess exceptional organization skills, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to maintain effective relationships.

Education and Experience:


The above is normally acquired through:

  • The completion of an Honours degree in Computer Science or a related field.
