Lead Chef - Shared Plates for Unique Lounge Bar & Event Space
Job Summary:
Our unique lounge and event space is seeking a talented chef to join our team as a lead chef specialized in creating light to substantial shared plates for our guests to enjoy.
We are looking for a chef that can bring creativity and innovation to our menu, and who is passionate about exceeding our guests' expectations.
This is a full-time position requiring excellent culinary and management skills.Responsibilities:
- Develop and create unique, creative, and innovative shared plates that align with our lounge bar's style and atmosphere.
- Direct the kitchen staff in daily preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and purchasing to meet budgetary restrictions while maximizing kitchen sales.
- Ensure that all food items are stored, prepared, and served according to established standards of quality and presentation.
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure that all food handling, storing, and preparation comply with local, state, and federal health regulations.
- Set kitchen cleaning schedules to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and equipment.
- Train new kitchen staff on menu preparation techniques, presentation, and quality standards.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the delivery of highquality ingredients while maximizing cost savings.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of culinary experience preferred, with a minimum of 3 years in management positions.
- Advanced culinary skills, including knowledge of food preparation techniques for a variety of dishes.
- Ability to create unique, trending, and innovative shared plates with excellent presentation techniques.
- Strong business acumen, including budgeting, ordering, inventory management, and cost controls.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and sanitation practices.
This position demands a motivated and creative chef with a strong passion for creating shared plates that will elevate our guest's experience and leverage kitchen sales.

Salary:
$55,976.00-$59,304.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
