    Description

    Braber Equipment , a well-established manufacturer, distributor, and wholesaler of agricultural equipment and parts, is seeking a professional and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior IT Administrator . Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration/network installation, and management of related system Databases (EDI, SQL, SYSPRO, Exchange). As the sole IT person on site, the Senior IT Administrator is also responsible for setting up new users and moving computers to implementing new servers.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Maintain EDI system, including the addition of new customers, troubleshooting, and mapping
    Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environment, including user administrator licensing and security
    Monitor and maintain health of IT Infrastructure, performing regular updates and maintenance as required
    Analyze and evaluate complex system's hardware and software from vendors, manufacturers and acquired companies. Document and compile results for final assessment
    Make recommendations to address complex and recurring problems
    Act as technical liaison with internal functional or business leaders, external manufacturers', or vendors' technical personnel, to implement or maintain hardware and software
    Evaluate assessment of recurring issues and oversee implementation of resolutions on routine issues
    Implement and maintain IT disaster/recovery plans
    Identify and implement performance improvement measures
    Maintain all systems and apply proactive techniques to stop issues before they happen
    Set up and issue company devices as needed
    Troubleshoot and repair network issues
    Other duties, as required

    Qualifications required:
    Strong interpersonal skills
    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
    Experience working in I.T. (minimum four years)
    Ability to lead and complete projects
    Hands on experience as an EDI Analyst (minimum two years)
    Experience working with a distribution company
    Advanced knowledge of software programming and coding languages including EDI, C++, Java, XML, CSV, and SQL.
    Experience with MRP/ERP System, preferably SYSPRO (minimum two years)
    Experience with VMware
    Experience with AD, DNS, Networking, Windows 10, IP Cameras, Apple products, Exchange server, all considered an asset
    Candidates must be in Lower Mainland, BC

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: $80,000.00 per year
