    Day in the Life

Seeking a skilled road warrior with nerves of steels and a love for the open roads. You will be responsible for driving a bunk tractor with 4 and 5 axle tank trailers, b-train tank trailers, and straight trucks with or without trailers carrying asphalt and chloride products from plants to various work sites. Excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety will be essential to ensure secure and timely delivery. It will also be important to conduct daily circle checks, inspecting the tires, lights, breaks, and other equipment, using electronic log books. You will want to ensure the truck maintains cleanliness and overall good condition as this will be your office and home away from home. Strong communication skills will be essential as you will receive and relay information from/to the Dispatch Supervisor daily.

Due to the nature of the business, the role is largely seasonal, typically starting late May and going to December, operating through the week with some Saturday's and Sunday's. You could be away for a week at a time.

If you're ready to fuel up your career and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Southern Ontario, this is the ideal role for you.
