Who are you?
You are a friendly, outgoing person with great organizational skills, and enjoying guiding and advising guests.

As a Parts & Service Advisor you work directly with the customers to determine specialized product needs and services and provides price estimates for designated installations prior to scheduling appointments.

The Parts Advisor works collaboratively with both the sales and service teams to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist internal and external customers to provide requested or required RV parts and accessories.
  • Daily interaction with guests to promote specialized product needs and installations
  • Schedule installation appointments with designated service staff members
  • Order, receive and maintain parts (and Warranty parts)
  • Maintain accurate records for purchased and/or returned parts.
  • Inventory control including replenishment, stocking, and physical counting.
  • Collect payment from customers
  • Monitor daily parts traffic and receive parts for installations
  • Ensure all parts are available for current jobs
  • Inspect vehicle to ensure proper parts are ordered
  • Inspect and confirm incoming warranty parts are correct and in satisfactory condition and report to Warranty.
  • Liaise with Warranty to facilitate warranty returns or reorders as required.
  • Schedule, document and facilitate timely customer updates on their parts order progress.
  • Facilitate timely returns and/or item credits from shipper or supplier when items are incorrect or damaged when received.
  • Sell relevant products and services to customers based on technician recommendations.
  • Schedule installation appointments with designated service staff members

  • Schedule track and facilitate outside repairs when required.
  • Provide excellent overall guest service
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for guests and coworkers
  • May cross train to perform other duties as necessary

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Previous RV or camping product is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed
  • Excellent organization and follow up skills are required
  • Knowledge of Service Department procedures and policies is preferred
  • A valid driver's license may be required

Health & Safety Considerations

  • Strict adherence to all health & safety policies is necessary
  • Ability to lift parts and accessories up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to work in a shared office space
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Able to work comfortably with computer equipment, including monitor, keyboard and mouse
  • Bending, lifting, kneeling, reaching
  • Ability to deal with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers using calm, effective and courteous communication
