Sales Administrator Freight Forwarding - Mississauga, Canada - Inter-Transport Ltd.

Description

• Manage and develop customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Conduct inside sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals
• Perform data entry tasks to update customer information and sales records
• Coordinate and track freight shipments using AS400 or other relevant systems
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and objectives
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers and carriers
• Provide account management support to existing clients Requirements:
• Previous experience in freight handling or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and freight industry practices
• Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of achieving targets
• Proficient in data entry and using relevant software systems (e.g., AS400)
• Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers and carriers
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms
