Company Description On behalf of our major Oil & Gas client in Calgary, Alberta Pantheon is seeking candidates for this exciting opportunity Reliability Engineering Manager Role requires experience across multiple technical disciplines with a focus on Electrical and Reliability Engineering Position supports the Kearl Oil Sands site accessible via Kearl travel services Initial site travel will be more frequent to meet the team then every 4–6 weeks thereafter Scope includes supporting two plants K1 and K2 covering extraction to froth utilities and tailings Responsible for providing recommendations to improve equipment performance and reliability Acts as a key interface between maintenance teams and external vendors Involved in equipment surveillance day-to-day reliability support change management and repair planning Requires relevant industry experience in heavy industrial or oil gas environments Work schedule is Monday to Friday AM – PM Requires minimum years of experience Education requirement Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering Master considered an asset Contract Evaluate comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally by contractors sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with company specifications company standards regulatory requirements Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering design routines that align with the team’s goals objectives procedures Assures accurate timely communication among the team other company functions on discipline engineering activities progress issues In addition technical ability they should demonstrate sound communication facilitation interpersonal skills Tasks And Responsibilities In addition all Level tasks Level will Provide technical training operations mechanical Provide quality control design reviews new projects involve rotating equipment Periodically review rotating equipment thermodynamic mechanical performance Provide assistance field during plant start-ups shutdowns upsets Skills And Qualifications Bachelor degree Mechanical Engineering related specialty equivalent professional experience Extensive knowledge discipline design standards specifications codes appropriate safety criteria Ability adapt tight deadlines heavy workloads frequent changes priorities Proficient Microsoft Office suite software programs Read write speak fluent English especially applies technical business communications Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering Information Technology Industries IT Services Consulting
