- Support the development and assume technical leadership of selected stick projects in the Advanced Design and Manufacturing Center.
- Validate new concepts and innovative manufacturing technologies.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement improvements in composite manufacturing methods, enhancing efficiency, consistency, and product quality. Develop custom tools to support product development, testing and data analysis.
- Analyze data and generate reports to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Coordinate with internal testing teams (field, mechanical, and performance labs) to validate product performance.
- Strong knowledge and experience in composite structure and process.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, take initiative and be agile.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet all internal timelines – with a strong sense of ownership.
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and French.

Purpose
The Material and Process Specialist plays a key role within the R&D team by driving innovation in new materials and improving composite stick manufacturing processes, as well as optimizing methods, refining designs, conducting product testing, prototyping, analyzing data, and collaborating closely with Product Developers. They contribute to inclusive development projects and actively support innovation initiatives within the Stick Business Unit. The position requires work at the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu factory as well as the Ville St-Laurent head office.
