Description:

***: Reporting to the VP Digital Health & CIO, and accountability to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Steering Committee, the ERP Project Manager will oversee the implementation of human resource, payroll, scheduling, occupational health and learning management systems at Brockville General Hospital.


The ERP Implementation Lead takes projects from original concept through final implementation and is responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).

Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

The ERP Implementation Lead interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and achievement of project deliverables.

Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.


They will evaluate and recommend changes to current and future ERP system requirements and business processes to meet organizational needs, in addition to leading the implementation of new organizational processes aligned with ERP configuration.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a health/life sciences, engineering, computer science or business administration field or recognized equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience.
  • Relevant experience in deploying Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) or Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Experience in Human Resources, Scheduling and /or payroll, and/or financial systems.
  • Experience creating business requirements, project plans, project schedules, and associated project materials.
  • Experience working in a distributed environment with multiple decision makers.

SKILL AND ABILITY:


  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multitask across many assignments and delegate appropriately.
  • Proficient understanding of project lifecycles within the project management discipline
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders to establish trust, credibility, and respect.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a variety of professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and problemsolving ability.
  • Excellent presentation, technical writing, facilitation, and training skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Excel
