As a core member of our Intelligent Automation (IA) team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.


The Intelligent Automation (IA) is multi-skilled team charged with identifying, building and deploying operational solutions leveraging a suite of emerging technologies, such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Robotics Process Automation, Business Process Management, Reconciliation Tools, APIs and Automation.


The Business Analyst will be a key member of the Intelligent Automation (IA) team and will play an integral role in designing and delivering automated processes within the Citco Group.

The Business Analyst will work with the Process Design team, Process Adoption team and business unit representatives to optimize and digitize operational processes in order to deliver bottom-line results for Citco.


Your Role:


  • You will elicit, capture, analyze, refine, articulate and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and software documentation.
  • Work with Process Design and Technical team to brainstorm solutions and assess feasibility
  • Create and review solution design documents clearly articulating asis and tobe states
  • Document and communicate business outcomes and gains from proposed solutions
  • Perform all aspects of the project lifecycle including but not limited to: scoping, analyzing, developing solutions and reviewing deliverables from executing to implementing change
  • Work with Process Adoption and Business Leads to rollout completed solutions to target teams/offices
  • Own product backlog maintenance and grooming
  • Participate in Scrum standup meetings, backlog grooming sessions, review and retrospective meetings
  • Perform weekend testing for releases (new functionality, bugs, enhancements, upgrades); generally one or two releases are scheduled per quarter

About You:


  • You have an undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong understanding of the Hedge Fund Industry (Reconciliation, Fund Accounting, Pricing, Investor Relations, etc.)
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Understanding of the benefits of Business Process Management, Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation
  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders to produce clearly articulated requirements for projects
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, design documentation and process flows in order to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements
  • Create and execute test plans in Dev/QA/UAT environments
  • Prepare and manage technical/user documentation for projects
  • Design, evaluate and monitor key metrics with business partner
  • Create interactive reports in Qlik/Tableau/Power BI/Alteryx
  • Assets:
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills
  • Macro development experience in VBA
  • Familiar with Database Systems (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Financial product knowledge and knowledge of Fund Administration
  • Understanding of agile project management
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
