Description
We are looking for someone to fill a position as an Ophthalmic Assistant.As an Ophthalmic Assistant you will be responsible to perform a myriad of tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Taking complete and accurate patient medical histories.
- Performing vision and diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, Lens biometry, topography, OCT and visual fields.
- Preparing patients for surgery
- Assisting in patient scheduling
- Maintaining patient medical records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and medical information.
- Doing regular inventory/ordering of supplies
- Protecting patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Compensation and Benefits
- Negotiable salary

From $17.00 per hour
