    Description

    Bartech Staffing is a leading engineering, technical and professional staffing firm, and our clients include some of the nation's biggest companies.

    Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Software Engineer Consultant/Expert. Hourly pay range $ 70-85

    This position will provide an opportunity to develop software drivers for various hardware peripherals including adaptation of existing drivers as well as development of new driver architectures.

    Your specific duties as a Software Engineer Consultant/Expert will include:

    Work in an Agile SW development environment to deliver state of the art SW solutions for the next generation Gateway product.

    Design and implement platform software to support advance application features
    Work closely with our vendors, hardware team and other embedded software teams to resolve platform and firmware issues
    5+ years of software development experience
    ~ Exceptional technical debugging and troubleshooting skills
    ~ Experience with AUTOSAR and MISRA coding standards
    Experience with scripting languages like Python
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field of study
    2+ years of software development experience
    ~ Experience in multi-threaded programming in C, Assembly
    ~ Ability to read and understand technical datasheets as well as schematics
