Reporting to the Pharmacentre Manager, you will be an integral member of the Pharmacy team and will be accountable to technical aspects of drug distribution.

Deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service
Enhance patient outcomes by ensuring the accuracy, quality, integrity and timeliness prescription filling
Duties as a

Pharmacy Technician:
Gather and enter pertinent patient and prescription information into the dispensing system, billing of prescriptions, filling prescriptions, assist with prescription pick up and cash duties as required

Assistance in maintaining accurate ordering and inventory
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience Required

Registered, Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
Experience in a retail pharmacy (preferred)
Retail experience with oral Oncology medications (preferred)
Knowledge with patient assistant oncology programs (preferred)
Experience with blister packing medications
Ability to handle a variety of complex tasks and issues promptly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and meeting conflicting deadlines
Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
Experience in providing exceptional patient centred care
Satisfactory performance and attendance required
