    Work Schedule: 5-5-4 rotation, 12-hour shifts. Although this is the established schedule, the company reserves the right to modify it as needed to meet operational requirements.

    Compensation: Hourly rate $28.25

Our mill facility focuses on processing and refining ore from Gowest Gold's Bradshaw Project, delivering high-quality metal concentrates while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

    JOB SUMMARY


    Northern Sun Mining currently has an exciting opportunity for a Mill/Crusher Labourer to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Operations Shift Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the milling operations by performing various tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the mill while adhering to safety and quality standards.

    Please note this is not a camp-based position.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform various physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and positioning materials.
    • Assist the Crusher Operator in the crushing plant as directed.
    • Assist mill operators with routine checks and adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
    • Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision and perform minor maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
    • Maintain cleanliness and order in the mill and crushing plant.
    • May be required to perform snow removal in the winter months.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the area of responsibility.
    • Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy the operation's goal of being accident-free.
    • Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • MTCU Basic Mill Process Operator – Common Core.
    • Capable of performing physical tasks.
    • Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment as well as independently.
    • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately.
