Job Summary:


This role will be accountable for leading the development, management and enhancement of the technology systems and processes related to the quality management system (QMS).

Specific systems and processes requiring this role's management include document control systems, audit management systems, quality databases, intranet pages, and nonconformance and corrective actions systems.


This role will work closely with Quality and Accreditations, Technical Management and regional Operations teams to understand requirements, lead the develop or redevelop processes, and implement the systems to achieve these processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Extensive knowledge and broad experience of the TIC industry and the processes required to deliver TIC services.
  • Extensive knowledge of accreditation standards and accreditation body requirements, where and when they apply.
  • Extensive knowledge of CSA Technology systems and interaction between systems.
  • Works closely with peers within the Quality and Accreditation teams to understand quality systems related metrics and data.
  • Works closely with colleagues within Technical Management to understand the metrics and data required to demonstrate strong quality risk controls.
  • Works closely with the Technology group to understand the overall enterprise architecture and the integration of QMS systems.
  • Ability to ask questions to extensively understand system and process requirements.
  • Ability to identify and engage with stakeholders affected by projects.
  • Ability to recognized social styles and cultural norms and tailor communications accordingly.
  • Keeps line of communication open among all project stakeholders, tracking deliverables, milestones, and any decisions made regarding requests for change and outstanding items.
  • Ability to lead change management with stakeholders, identify change management need and deliver limited training where appropriate.
  • Leads the development or enhancement of the technology systems related to the QMS including document control systems, audit management systems, quality databases, intranet page, and nonconformance and corrective actions systems.
  • Leads the internal and external audit program including scheduling, documentation and tools, findings/recommendations and corrective actions. Works closely with the new accreditations, and the quality and accreditation groups with these activities.
  • Leads the coordination of the collection and presentation of QMS data for management and reporting purposes in order to achieve results of critical importance.
  • Monitors the employee quality training matrix, supporting schedules and training programs developed by the quality and accreditations team.
  • Coordinate global QMS communications and change management activities.

Education and Experience:

  • Postsecondary education in a field relevant to CSA Group's core business is required. 57 years of experience as in data analytics, systems and process design and improvement.

Skills:


  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Project Management experience and certification is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate abstract topics to a wide range of audiences.
  • Expert working knowledge with data analytics and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
  • Experience with management systems, in particular ISO Management System Standards and conformity assessment standards (e.g. ISO 17000 series standards) is an asset.
