Call Taker to join the Dispatch Office. This entry-level role is responsible for answering incoming calls and booking taxi services through
riide's advanced computer dispatch system.

the responsibilities

The
Call Taker is responsible to:

Support customer service excellence by answering incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency;
Process requests through the advanced computer dispatch system with accuracy and following internal dispatch protocol;
Positively interact with the Dispatch Office team;
Proactively deescalate customer complaints.
Transfer issues to the Dispatch Manager; and
Other duties as directed.

the requirements

To be successful as a call taker, you will possess:

General knowledge of Saskatoon (key landmarks, road names, etc.);
Strong computer technology skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly;
Proven customer service skills;
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication;
Ability to work as part of a team in an open office concept;
Selfmotivated and able to work independently as required; and
Reliable transportation to and from work.
