Construction Supervisor/Landscape Supervisor, Full Time
Gcon Landscaping is actively searching for a supervisor to join our growing team Our company primarily works within the municipal sector, performing hard and soft scape restoration work. We are looking for a hard-working and motivated individual with a strong background in the construction/landscaping industry.
- Previous supervisor experience is preferred; however, a foreman looking to transition into this role would also be considered._
The position is hands-on, requires close engagement and developing of crews and junior staff, assisting management with execution of projects and daily tasks.
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising projects, supporting staff, and managing daily field activities
- Ensuring staff follow safety policies, rules, and regulations within the jurisdiction
- Scheduling, coordinating, and site inspections
- Managing projects to meet deadlines, quality/contract standards and remain under budget
- Review work progress to ensure that deficiencies are dealt with before the projects are closed
- Contributing to the training and development of staff
- Working with management, field staff, consultants, and subcontractors
- Communicating mobilizations, transportation, equipment, and material purchasing for projects
- Assisting staff with maintaining company vehicles, tools, and property
- Maintaining detailed records of all site events including notes, photographs, and reports
- Ensuring crews are filling out daily documents as required
- Review employee timesheets

- High school diploma
- 1 year supervisor or 3 years foreman experience in construction/landscaping
- Experience with mechanical repairs and truck/equipment knowledge is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Effective time management and the ability to adapt to a fastpaced work environment
- A high degree of professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Valid G-Class Driver's License (3 years minimum experience
- AZ/DZ is a plus)
