Distribution Department Team-Leader

Continental Sausage Co. is a deli meat manufacturer in South Surrey.

The plant is a "state of the art" facility, completed in June 2017, and requires new staff to support the industry growth.

The Role

*Picking orders and preparing paperwork for customer deliveries

*Leading 3-4 distribution department representatives.

*Assisting with the logistics of all incoming and outgoing shipments

*Recruitment and development of order fill staff

*Optimization of plant

*Inventory management and cohesive management of available labor in order to increase production capacity and decrease costs.

*Ensuring all food safety protocols are adhered to and documentation maintained.

Qualifications:

3 plus years in a team-leader capacity, preferably within the Food Industry

*Knowledge of ERP systems

*Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all members of a diverse team

*Very strong planning and resource allocation skills

*Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

*A willingness to work flexible hours when required
