The Opportunity


The Project Manager (PMO) for Egon Zehnder's North American Expert team is a crucial facilitator of operations across the firm.

Our PMO works directly with the Head of Experts, human resources, consultants, and practice-specific Expert Leaders, and should have experience managing multiple projects with competing urgencies.

This full-time role requires strengths in communication, collaboration, and thought partnership as many of Egon Zehnder's projects are ever evolving and time sensitive.

The PMO leads multiple dynamic and customized projects which require learning agility and flexibility.

As a firm, Egon Zehnder is constantly evolving to meet market demands and the PMO should be prepared to adapt plans and strategies for execution as needed.

The nature of these projects include but are not limited to talent development, workforce planning, implementation and launch of new resources, and process improvement and streamlining.


What You'll Do

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operational tasks and communication channels for the North American Expert team
  • Serve as point of contact for internal Expert leadership teams, managing status updates and knowledge syncing
  • Create and maintain efficient processes for the Expert community activities and execution of development programming
  • Contribute to the strategic planning initiatives of our Expert Leadership teams to ensure long term success from kickoff to implementation
  • Lead the planning, execution, and launch of initiatives, including talent development, workforce planning, resource implementation, and process improvement

Requirements:


Minimum Qualifications

  • 35 years experience as a project manager or in a related role
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in fastpaced, everchanging environments.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project
  • Ability to build and maintain Gantt Charts and Pivot tables
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified SCRUM Master
  • PMP Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Certifications
  • Familiarity with project or task management programs such as Asana, MS Lists, etc.
