Position Summary:

The Swamper / Labourer will work in a team environment in all types of weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to help move material and large objects.

You must have good safety awareness, good communication & competent decision-making skills, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions.

Essential Functions, Major Duties, and/or Accountabilities:

Work well with others or independently
Capable of working within a fastpaced environment
Capable of working in all weather conditions
Ability to follow direction, remain alert, and maintain a high level of concentration
Have good judgement and the ability to react quickly
Be able to perform Physical Labour on a daily basis

Qualifications:

Must have a current valid driver's license and able to provide a clean driver's abstract
Rigging/Swamping and equipment operating experience required
Previous experience working with Skid Steer or Loader
Related certificates and training are preferred: PST, Ground Disturbance, CSTS09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS, OSSA
Must pass a preemployment Drug/Alcohol screening

Work Conditions:

Work for upwards of 24 days away from home
Adaptable to changing shifts
Ever changing locations throughout Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, & Manitoba
