On behalf of our client, a leading heavy civil infrastructure construction company, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated New Graduate Cost Controller to join their growing team.

About the Role:

In this role, you will support the Finance and Project Management teams in monitoring, managing, and controlling project costs to ensure successful delivery within budget.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with project stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and other cost control professionals.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of project budgets and cost reports
Track all costs associated with the projects, including labor, materials, and indirect costs
Analyze project performance and cost variances
Support the development and implementation of cost control procedures
Participate in project meetings and present costrelated updates
Collaborate with project teams to ensure budget compliance and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

Recent graduate from a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with an exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with construction management software is a plus
Ability to work well in a fastpaced team environment
Must be proactive and capable of working with mínimal supervision
Interest in civil infrastructure construction and keen to develop a career in Cost Control
