    The Chinook School Division requires a full time (1.0 FTE) permanent complexity teacher at Swift Current Comprehensive High School beginning as soon as possible. SCCHS is a Grade 9-12 school with 995 students and 53 teachers.

    Qualifications:

    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively and an ability to work in a team environment;
    • A teaching philosophy that reflects a constructivist and cooperative learning approach;
    • Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLCs, professionals and community service agencies;
    • Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;
    • Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation;
    • Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion;
    • Successful teaching experience or training;
    • Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
