- Location & Hours:_
- This is currently a hybrid position with 3 days expected in the office
- What We Offer:
- Essential Functions:_
- Plans, coordinates resources, and executes industry, sales and marketing events, promotions, marketing campaigns, sales training and food shows in support of long range planning and divisional goals.
- Collaborates with internal and external teams (supplies, brokers etc.) to ensure the success of marketing campaigns and events
- Utilizes business reporting to identify and track return on investment for campaigns and events.
- Determines and appropriately manages budget and expense of campaigns, print and events for the division marketing department.
- Attends and contributes to meetings and activities as requested in support of identified needs
- Ensures project objectives are met by proofing projects for consistent, high quality copy and design.
- Enforces the correct usage of Gordon Food Service logo and brand standards on marketing materials and communications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:_
- This position requires creative and analytical thinking; the employee also must have excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills to assist with the strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Must have industry knowledge and be able to use profitability models, analyze and interpret data to build relationships, network and resource link.
- Ability to instruct and provide training on campaign needs.
- Must display a strong desire to succeed.
- Must have strong project management skills to oversee and coordinate projects.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics for B2B and B2C target audiences for both products and services.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Must be a team player, and have collaborative work relationships.
- Must have mathematical and analytical skills to handle project budgets and review estimates.
- Must be able to manage one's own time, prioritize work tasks, be detailoriented, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Bilingual will be considered a huge asset
- Education Requirements:_
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
- Three years previous marketing experience with an emphasis on campaigns, event management and business reporting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
