    Job Description

    The Coordinator, Human Resources (HR) will be responsible for supporting the administration of Indigo's Human Resources team across the Home Office, Distribution Centres and Retail network. This role will dually provide first-line support for all inquiries related to Indigo's Human Resources Management System, policies and procedures and support the HR Managers and HR Business Partners with a variety of administrative tasks.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Functional

    • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from Leaders and employees, providing first level advice and direction, escalating to HRBPs/Managers as required.
    • Manage the Human Resources email inbox and escalate Leader and employee inquiries as required.
    • Support the HRBPs and HR Managers in the development and processing of employment contracts, ensuring an effective tracking system for fixed-term contracts and independent contractors.
    • Support the Talent Acquisition team with position description review and development, partnering with the Total Rewards team for compensation reviews, and obtaining approvals for job postings.
    • Support onboarding/orientation process for new Home Office employees, as well as new Retail/DC Leadership employees.
    • Support facilitation of exit interviews with departing employees, consolidating information and reporting on trends to HR Leadership.
    • Assist in the data management, maintenance, and administration of the Indigo Human Resources Management System.
    • Support the management of the Total Rewards inbox, providing first level guidance and direction on compensation and benefit inquiries
    • Support the facilitation of leadership development webinars and in-person training sessions.
    • Perform other duties as required, including the preparation of ad hoc reports, dashboards and presentations.
    • Open and manage job requisition within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Oversee the referral reward program, including tracking referrals, processing referrals, processing rewards, and communicating with employees.
    • Generate compliance reports to ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 1+ years of Human Resources experience
    • College diploma in Human Resources Management, or equivalent work experience
    • CHRP designation preferred (completed or in progress)
    • Retail experience is an asset
    • Strong experience working with human resource management information systems

    Competencies / Skills / Attributes

    • Effective communication skills, including excellent written, oral and presentation abilities.
    • Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to adhere to schedules and manage processes; the ability to organize and prioritize work to manage timelines and to meet defined deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
    • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products, with a focus on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Customer-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results.
    • Experience using People Management Software (Ultimate Software (UKG) an asset)
    • The position is onsite at Indigo's Home Office located at 620 King Street West, Toronto, ON
