JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a key part of the operations team, the A/R Clerk will work closely with the rest of the Finance Department and will play a critical role in Pro Reefer's accounting operations by producing and verifying receipts and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of incoming payments.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages accounts receivable
Processes online payments
Sends A/R statements
Reconciles outstanding invoices
Tracks and records incoming payments
Prepares/issues bills, invoices, bank deposits, etc.
Sends bill reminders
Investigates and resolves billing issues and account discrepancies
Verifies entries, expense reports, and system balances
Updates and maintains account database
Prepares and files financial paperwork
Communicates with customers regarding billing and transactions

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Bachelor's Degree in FInance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
Proven working experience as AR Clerk, manager, or accountant
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles and best practices
Data entry skills and experience
Customer service experience
Handson experience operating spreadsheets and producing reports
Experience within the heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance sector or similar/parallel industries with mobile repair function is a bonus
