- Performsfull-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, includingsubledger reconciliations;
- Disburses,replenishes, and reconciles Translink bus tickets;
- Performscollection on delinquent accounts;
- Processesand files routine journal entries;
- Preparesreports such as statistical summaries and transaction tracking and any otherreports requested by the manager;
- Assists inthe completion of the of month end, budget, audit and various annual reviewsand all related tasks;
- Providesinput and feedback to support the continuous improvement of financial process,systems, and internal controls;
- Performsother related duties as assigned.
- Completionof Level 2 of a diploma in financial or accounting program;
- Minimum 3years of proven, progressive accounting experience;
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office including Excel and Word;
- Knowledgeand experience with Sage Accpac ERP software;
- Demonstratedaccuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability tomaintain confidential information;
- Demonstratedorganizational skills and ability to multi-task;
- Ability towork independently and meet deadlines;
- Basicworking knowledge of GAAP;
- Ability toexercise good accounting judgment and take appropriate action where necessary;
- Verbal andwritten English proficiency at a professional level.
