A career as an Administrative Assistant at National Bank means being part of the transformation and having a direct impact on customers and your team.

As an Assistant, you'll act as a right-hand man and strategic ally to two Regional Vice-Presidents in the Retail sector, helping them to carry out various tasks, optimize their time and help them achieve their business line objectives.


Your job

  • Coordinate internal meetings/committees, and internal and external meetings, ensuring the preparation of all related documents and action plans.
  • Interact confidentially with external clients, various Bank departments and internal members on various issues involving the department.
  • Draft, revise and improve letters and documents of various kinds.
  • Provide support for philanthropic involvement; help with solicitation and deadline followup.
  • Coordinate travel, business trips and prepare expense claims and invoice payments. Preapprove all managers' expense accounts.
  • Work with the administrative team to improve the department's administrative operations and develop internal procedures and processes.
  • Coordinate activities related to employee hiring and departure processes (IT, HR requests, etc.).
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Your team:

You report to the Regional Vice-President, Individuals, Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec, and to the Regional Vice-President, Individuals, Chaudière-Appalaches.

This position is 100% remotely, with some in-person meetings to develop partnership within the team.

Basic requirements:


  • Completion of a threeyear college or vocational diploma or the academic equivalent, related to the sector of activity, and five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as an assistant an asset
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite and all collaboration tools
  • Strong ability to adapt and excellent sense of proactivity
  • Professionalism, rigor and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Sense of autonomy, initiative and urgency
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
