    Description

    Airport Services Management:
    Overseeing and managing the entire airport customer experience, including check-in, passenger processing, customer service, aircraft servicing, and ground handling;

    Compliance and Policy Adherence:
    includes overseeing ATW and BTW processes and procedures, maintaining regulatory compliance, upholding brand initiatives while prioritizing safety and procedures;
    Managing financial and budgetary aspects of airport operations, includes regional profit and loss analysis, continuous review for cost reductions, approval of purchase order and invoices;
    Remote Working and

    Station Support:

    working at stations to provide support as needed to address delays, staffing issues, irregular operations management, third party contract review, etc.

    ;

    Monitoring and Reporting:
    Regularly monitoring airport services, compliance with policies and regulations, baggage services, and financial aspects to ensure smooth and efficient operations;
    Provides oversight for Safety Management and Quality Assurance as it pertains to airport operations;
    Leads, and directs the activities of local airport operations management team in support of safety, efficiency and exceptional customer service;
    Ensures the performance of all airport operations are in accordance with regulatory, Company and customer requirements;
    Ensures regulations for domestic & international operations are current and followed;
    Oversee performance of third party handling including contract negotiations;
    On-time performance of flights across the network;
    Collaborates with Training & Standards team with respect to airport SOPs and training programs and ensures front line employees complete departmental training within timelines;
    Assists with departmental labour relations including contract negotiations/interpretations, discipline, grievance hearings/arbitration;
    Provides input on performance analysis and planning from a airport operations perspective;
    Responsible for preparation and management of expense budgets within their scope, ensuring profitable operation;
    Conducts risk assessments, investigations and respond to HOIRs as required;
    Develops safety, operational and security audits, to be performed on a quarterly basis, thereby ensuring quality and compliance with all regulatory and Company policies;
    Develops and undertakes quality assurance audits as required to ensure key customer expectations are being met;
    Sets goals and monitors performance of front-line managers;
    Ensures the professional development and training of their people;
    IATA diploma in Aviation Security, as asset;
    Proficient in Windows, Word and Excel;
    Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
    Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and projects effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
    Experience managing a unionized workforce;
    Possesses a solid understanding of the business and customer environment;
    Ability to communicate in Inuktut a definite asset;
