Job Description - Project Coordinator
You will be responsible for the communication of all contract documents to all necessary parties.

You will also be responsible for pricing and management while assisting with the communications of all contract documents to all necessary parties for commercial building projects.

You will oversee the maintenance, monitoring and enforcement of the Etera project specific safety program, as directed by the Project Manager and Site Superintendent.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Maintain excellent relationships with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and the public.
  • Understand contractual responsibilities, contract documents and general project communications.
  • Understand subcontractor contractual responsibilities.
  • Provide assistance in liaising with building authorities and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage all contract document controls ensuring that all applicable project team members receive contract documents in a timely manner, including documentation of all correspondence.
  • Prepare costing and assist with the administration of all change orders, processing and assessing cost and schedule impact.
  • Ongoing updates of site plans, egress plans, traffic plans, etc
  • Maintain most recent contract drawings and records.
  • Review specifications and drawings for all required submissions.
  • Assist General Manager and Project Manager with progress tracking and schedule updates.
  • Participate in quality program including the administrative tracking and documentation in collaboration with the Site Superintendent.
  • Involved in project closeout, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work.

Daily:


  • Review and distribute Drawings and Submittals.
  • Review and distribute RFI's.
  • Maintain office plan room with current updates to contract documents.
  • Oversee and manage all contract documents.
  • Issue request for quotes.
  • Pursues pricing.
  • Quotes work.
  • Issue subcontract revisions.

Weekly:


  • Maintain and issue logs for RFI's and Submittals.
  • Update residential finishes matrix (Detail Finishes schedules).

Monthly:


  • Preparation of monthly forecast with Project Managers.
  • Complete Safety Inspection.
  • Provide contract document and change order statistics for the monthly status report.

Basic Qualifications:


Education:


  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Preferred: Valid and current PMP certification
  • Preferred: 2 4 years experience in commercial construction field.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal managerial supervision
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts
  • Strong knowledge of written and digital project management tools
  • Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, clients, and other outside professionals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of applicable regulations, especially in occupational health and safety.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Desire to be part of an young innovative and entrepreneurial management team

Salary:
$50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
