How You'll Perform the Role

Responsible for the implementation and creation of the followup of the prevention plan, policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with the regulations and standards in force within the corporation as well as all laws governing health and safety at work
Good labor relations management
Provide daytoday support to managers and employees for all questions relating to health and safety at work
Actively participate in accident investigations, safety registrations and audits within the plant, the development and followup of corrective measures, the implementation of an emergency plan
See to the complete and effective training of employees on the various issues related to health, safety and the environment.
Ensures the maintenance and entry of all information into the computer system
Inspect facilities and machinery
Consult health and safety guides and standards
Carry out tests on the inventory of fixtures
Write reports on findings and CSST
Chair the OHS committee
All other related tasks

What We Need From You

2 to 4 years of experience in a Health and Safety position, preferably in the field of plant manufacturing
Certificate Health and Safety
Bilingualism
Skilled in coaching
Positive and dynamic attitude focused on communications and courtesy
Excellent communication skills and writing skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience in CSST file management
