Entering our fifth year of summer camps, we are currently seeking fun, outgoing, and responsible team members to help us make Camp Brimacombe a fun and safe place for our campers this summer.

Brimacombe ski area is currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker for our summer operations.

This seasonal contract position reports to the Outdoor Operations Manager and is responsible for general property maintenance around the Brimacombe property and it's facilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Cut and trim grass, including sweeping, raking and weed maintenance.
  • Assist with tree maintenance, including planting, trimming, etc.
  • Assist with trail development and maintenance.
  • Plant and weed gardens.
  • Perform exterior building maintenance, which includes cleaning, painting, window cleaning, pressure washing, etc.
  • Conduct general site cleanup, including garbage pickup.
  • Assist with general property maintenance.
  • Operating allterrain utility vehicles.
  • Working in a variety of weather and terrain conditions.
  • Ensure work area(s) are kept safe and clean, reporting any damage, malfunction or misuse of any company equipment and/or property.
  • Work effectively in a team with all other Camp Brimacombe staff and management.
  • Ready to take on any challenge or help other team members when needed.
  • Perform all duties assigned by Outdoor Operations Manager.

Qualifications:


  • Good communications skills, selfmotivated, mature, dependable, and able to work well with others.
  • Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to operate ATVs and 4x4 trucks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Experience in landscaping or maintenance would be considered an asset.
  • Successful Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, required prior to the first day of work.
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada
