    Today, I have an exciting opportunity to offer from one of our esteemed clients in Montreal. They are seeking a dedicated Network and Security Administrator to join their team.

    In this role, you will:

    • Guarantee the security of the company network, propose enhancements, and adhere to established security protocols.
    • Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of network environments while conducting regular maintenance.
    • Handle backups, recovery processes, and user access management efficiently.
    • Monitor, detect, and resolve security alerts, providing detailed reports to management.
    • Update network documentation and processes regularly.
    • Perform system updates during non-office hours.

    Requirements:

    • College diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in server and network administration.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and cloud services.
    • Expertise in networking principles and technologies.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
    • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Hold a valid driver's license and vehicle.
    • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CISSP, GIAC) are a plus.
    • Familiarity with security standards (ISO27001/2, NIST CSF, etc.) is advantageous.
