Description
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) – Saskatoon and University Saskatchewan, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery has a locum position available to a team player who has an interest in the full spectrum of plastic surgical care.
The locum would have access to at least one OR day a week and possibly more depending on the desire.
Outpatient clinic space is available for one day a week and often more based on vacant clinic time. The successful candidate should be competent in a full spectrum of plastic surgery trauma care. There will be opportunity for general reconstruction, microsurgery, breast reconstruction and hand surgery electively. Language of work is English.
University of Saskatchewan (USask) - The beautiful USask campus is located on the shores of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, a city with a diverse and thriving economic base and a vibrant cultural life.
The USask is a research-intensive institution with 22,000 students and 7,000 faculty and staff, and a strong reputation for innovation and excellence.
It is home to the newly constructed Academic Health Sciences Complex .The College of Medicine has an intake of 100 students per year with a commensurate number of positions for residency training.
