Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, assisting with food handling and preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties:


  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and guidelines
  • Assist with food handling, including receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals
  • Maintain inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies
  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure consistent quality
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, utensils, and dishes
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
