Job Position:
Summer Student Advertising and Promotions Coordinator

Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to work alongside the agency staff and the Executive Director to provide marketing support and help to create and manage the social media platforms for Michael House.

This role is imperative for communication and promotion of upcoming Events to our participants, with our donors, and the community at large.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Contract Duration: 9 Weeks

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Assist in the development and implementation of our marketing & social media strategy.
Design engaging content for all social media platforms.
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Create social media calendar.
Monitor SEO and user engagement.
Monitor social media channels for trends.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquires, and comments.
Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
Assist with Events and promotional activities with our community.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Relevant college or university educational background.
Expertise in Social Media platforms.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to create creative content.
Familiarity with online marketing tools and strategies.

Responsibilities and Principle Activities:

All work at Michael House Pregnancy Care Centre requires staff to have read and understood the relevant Program, Health and Safety, Financial and Human Resources policies and procedures.
