Department Overview


The Transformation, Enablement, and Customer Experience (TECE) is a dynamic, innovative and diverse team of professionals with a North American mandate to provide partnership, challenge and support on all key areas for covered businesses.

These include supporting and advising complex, fast-paced and innovative projects and initiatives delivered by Digital Strategy, Innovation and External Ecosystems.

We also provide consolidated reporting across all P&T on key governance and regulatory reporting.

We continuously partner effectively with our Risk and Control partners and provide guidance, advice and support to businesses to help them achieve their strategic goals and priorities while acting within Risk Appetite and in compliance with applicable policies and regulations.


We are looking for a dynamic team player who is knowledgeable on Marketing programs, Corporate and Public Affairs (CAPA), Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship, and operational risk and/or regulatory compliance expertise to enable speed-to-market, enhanced governance and mitigate risk.

This position will report to the Senior Manager, G&C 1B.

Key accountabilities for the position include:

  • Oversee and manage change governance
  • Lead regulatory change management
  • Review, provide guidance and oversight on innovation initiatives, finding the right balance between risk and reward, in conjunction with both internal stakeholders and control partners in various BAU, NEW and other operating models
  • Review initiatives from a privacy, compliance, conduct and risk perspective
  • Review and provide challenge on Change Risk Assessment (CRA), complex Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and other applicable project documents
  • Act as a privacy designate to ensure programs are operating within risk appetite
  • Support on ESGrelated strategy
  • Participation in internal audit, incident management procedures and reporting as it relates to operations, vendors and privacy incidents
  • Conduct social media monitoring and manage escalations
  • Support Compliance risk assessments, control mapping and testing, issue managing including accessibility on Merlin Compliance System
  • Draft and manage key G&C owned policies and procedures, support development of other owned documentation and provide feedback on enterprise processes documentation as required
  • Focus on continuous improvement review & introduce efficiencies in processes
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with team members, business partners, and control partners including Legal

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the areas of compliance, risk or privacy in a regulated environment (Privacy knowledge and experience is a must)
  • Experience in Marketing, TD Ready Commitment, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and Marketing is an asset
  • Understanding of TD enterprise data platform is an asset
