The Global Wholesale Banknotes team is looking for a Treasury Product Manager based in Toronto.


Responsibilities
The duties of this role will include but are not limited to the below:

  • Independently buys and sells (trades) foreign banknotes in accordance with business objectives, client needs and trading limits for Americas with focus on Latin American region based clients
  • Maintains existing banknote client relationships by quoting and booking Banknote transactions, answering incoming client calls and address related issues
  • Supports the Americas team with focus on Latin American region in the maintenance and growth of business in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
  • Maintains a client portfolio and revenue plan for the region.
  • Works with the Global Banknotes Team to analyze economic and market indicators, to project future banknote market dynamics and to determine positioning with clients
  • Works with other key stakeholders such as Treasury, GTS Sales, Credit, Compliance and Operations to manage client relationships, business development and process improvements
  • Participates in assessing client's business needs and opportunities and deliver solutions that present differentiated Bank of America capabilities
  • Understands and applies the bank's risk framework
  • Liaises with transportation agents to coordinate shipments
  • Collaborates with vault and operations' teammates to facilitate end to end delivery
  • Generates reports, analyze data, and prepares summarized commentary
  • Requires flexibility as the banknote trading desk is staffed from 8:00am to 6:00pm on all weekdays, including Canadian public holidays

Required Skills:


  • Minimum of 57 years of Global International Banking experience
  • Fluency in Spanish both verbal and written is mandatory
  • Familiar with foreign exchange/global transaction services
  • Strong knowledge of foreign currency banknotes and foreign exchange including trading strategies, pricing, market characteristics and transportation logistics
  • Flexible and adaptable to fast paced work environment
  • Able to query, manage, analyze, and draw conclusions from large amounts of data
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and clearly defined KPI
  • Selfmotivated, positive attitude and high energy are a must
  • Able to balance multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail, quick learner, superior organizational and task management skills
  • Must have experience with data analytics
  • Must have working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
  • Exposure to the International market would be an asset
  • Proficiency in French and/or Portuguese would be an asset
