- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to create detailed CAD drawings including plans, surveys, elevations, sections, workflows, and more;
- Generate various schedules and data sheets;
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail in all engineering drawings;
- Work well within a team environment;
- Use critical thinking to solve problems;
- Prepare design packages for designers and engineers;
- Quickly adapt to new programs and platforms;
- Potentially conduct field site visits.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technology or equivalent;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or electrical industry projects;
- Proficient in AutoCAD;
- Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD drafting;
- Experience in manual drafting;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Understanding of MicroStation, Revit, Civil 3D, or Inventor is advantageous;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD customization programming is a plus;
- Familiarity with Safety design codes.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of technical drafters supporting T&D engineering projects at CIMA+ in British Columbia and potentially beyond. This position is based in Vancouver, BC.

The salary range for this role is $43,000 to $49,000, based on experience, training, skills, and internal equity considerations. Salary may vary based on candidate profile.
