As a CFAA Corporate Provincial Member, we operate in alignment with NFPA standards and Canadian fire code requirements, delivering compliant, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Our services include fire alarm inspections and installations, sprinkler system inspections and modifications, fire extinguisher servicing and hydrostatic testing, emergency lighting and fire hose inspections, as well as deficiency repairs and compliance documentation.
In addition to services, we trade and supply fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers (new and refurbished), fire hoses, cabinets, suppression agents, and related life safety products.
Based in Cambridge, ON, we are building a modern, responsive fire protection company focused on accountability, technical competence, and long-term client partnerships.
Role DescriptionThis role is based in Cambridge, ON, and involves building and maintaining client relationships by promoting the company's fire safety inspection and service offerings.
We are seeking a driven Sales Specialist to generate new business, grow service agreements, and expand equipment sales within the KWC, GTA, and surrounding regions.
This role is focused on prospecting, relationship-building, proposal development, and closing inspection, service, installation, and product supply opportunities.Responsibilities
Proactively prospect and develop new customers through direct outreach, referrals, and networking
Build relationships with property managers, contractors, smart centers, restaurant chains and facility operators
Identify opportunities for inspections, service contracts, installations, and equipment sales
Prepare and present detailed proposals aligned with compliance requirements and client needs
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close
Maintain and grow recurring inspection and service agreements
Expand scope within existing accounts
Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure deliverable and profitable execution
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting within CRM
Monitor market activity, competitors, and regulatory changes
Travel within KWC, GTA, and surrounding areas for meetings
Qualifications
2+ years of B2B sales experience (fire protection services, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, fire safety products, or related industry preferred)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated success in prospecting and closing new business
Strong understanding of fire alarm and sprinkler systems is an asset
Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire code requirements is an asset
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a strong ownership mentality
Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
