Description
The Distribution Analyst main objective is to improve and support the growth of Air Canada Vacation's distribution.

The role has a critical function to ensure our distribution channels work efficiently and effectively to allow ACV products to be displayed, shopped, and booked.

The Distribution Analyst will maintain current process and will propose/implement new distribution channels and technologies.

A fundamental part of the distribution infrastructure is the package price cache which holds millions of price points that are distributed to display our products for shopping on all travel agents/agencies booking systems, OTA websites and our ACV website.

The package cache directly impacts sales and user experience.

The Distribution analyst will analyze, propose improvements, establish, and manage all processes for cache efficiency, selection of OnDnD for last minute/promotional products and configure the systems for new launches.

As our business grows with more products and destinations, is imperative to improve and maximize cache utilization.

A more efficient cache will reduce call centre calls and can improve B2B/B2B2C bookings on pre-pack products, removing less productive records in the cache will give space for new products.

The distribution analyst will also keep systems running efficiently to frequently update the cache including the related air cache, hotel cache and other systems that directly impact the performance and will find ways to automate processes and create reports to analyze data.

The Distribution Analyst will also participate in the analysis, planning and coordination of projects to improve the current systems or for new distribution channels.
