RTI is currently seeking a Mobile Preventative Maintenance Technician

This individual will be responsible for completing on-site Preventive Maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner.
  • Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require followup service.
  • Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting
  • Collection of oil samples
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances.
  • Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
  • Other mechanical repair work as required.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and mature manner.
  • Strong organizational skills withclear oral and written communications abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational abilites with task prioritization, multitasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision: must be selfdirected.

Work Conditions:

  • A company site vehicle will be supplied to travel to and from customer locations.
  • Safety equipment will be required such as safety boots, hearing protection and safety glasses.
  • Inddor and outdoor environment; various weather conditions.
  • Weekend work may be required.

Required Skills:


  • A recent driver's abstract will be required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • DZ drivers licence an asset.
  • 310T, 425A or 421A licence would be an extreme asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of Heavy Equipment repair experience.

Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour
