Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market Intelligence and Managing Director, this role includes daily market analysis on the Greater Vancouver market in a fast-paced environment.
- The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated between $60,000 to $65,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through a bonus. This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all Canadian locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity._

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the
Market Intelligence Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following
- Conducts a variety of information searches (availability, vacancy/sale, tenant information, transaction information, title information, zoning/planning restrictions, demographics, etc.) utilizing internal and external resources
- Participate in the production of regular quarterly reports on the Greater Vancouver market, compiling the quarterly statistics and providing analysis and commentary on vacancies, net rental rates, new supply/inventory, and market trends
- Prepare statistical and market monitor reports and decks to be utilized in proposals and presentations
- Establish and maintain business relationships internally and externally with landlords, brokerages, property managers, municipalities, and other commercial real estaterelated companies to gather and confirm listing and transaction information
- Participate in regular internal leasing meetings, market discussions and in research conference calls
- Any other special projects / duties as required
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task at an above-average level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, relevant to Real Estate, Geography or Urban Planning postsecondary is an asset
- 12 years experience in residential or commercial real estate is an asset
- Strong analytical, research and presentation skills. A high level of attention to detail is essential.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint, and especially strong skills in Excel
- Strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as report writing and formal business correspondence are vital in the role
- High level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and demanding environment, while maintaining the ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality, and attention to detail
- Demonstrate high level of passion and energy when taking on projects; must be driven
