As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities.

We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.

A position has become available ICT Co-ordinator in our Mississauga office.

The ICT Co-ordinator in collaboration with the Project Systems Manager, will lead the definition, development and implementation of project ICT infrastructure on major EPCM projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist with development of overall project systems functional architecture
Coordinate, manage & plan the deployment/integration of information and communications technology in a timely and costeffective manner, including:
LAN/WAN and telecommunications

- back office hardware
- operating system environments
- information and systems security
- backup and recovery procedures
- disaster recovery planning

Provide ICT manpower estimating and budgetary input and compilation
Manage external services, including leased lines, offsite storage and consulting
In conjunction with EPCM systems coordinators, proactively identify functional requirements of project team, and provide fitforpurpose solutions

Essential Requirements:

Relevant IT diploma and MCSE certification
Planning and coordinating information and communications technologies implementations
Well developed communication and negotiation skills
Team player with a strong customer focus
Minimum 5 years experience in the engineering consultancy industry, supporting major EPCM projects
Ability to comprehend and document complex work processes across disciplines or departments
Experience in supervision of project teams, management of budgets etc
Knowledge of current networking and communications technologies and standards
Excellent communication skills
Awareness of relational database support and development requirements (SQL, Oracle)
Availability to travel when required
