Safety Administrator (5 Month Contract)

Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answers phones, directs calls, takes messages and provides general office support to the safety department
  • Provides general office support by performing administrative and clerical duties such as maintaining spreadsheets and databases, photocopying, filing
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations
  • Assists in special projects as required and performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Attending meetings and taking notes as required
  • Pulling weekly/monthly KPI Reports and communicating them internally and externally.
  • WSIB Reporting
  • Updating of targets as business needs require
  • Creating Processes and updating documents

Requirements:


  • High School Graduation supplemented by completion of a postsecondary program in Business Administration.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of recent related office and accounting experience. Experience in the construction industry or project based environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, organize work, prioritize and work to deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior problem solving skills and ability to use judgment and common sense.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and to perform with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 5 months


Salary:
$20.00-$33.00 per hour
