Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure accuracy
- Provide support during tax audits and resolve any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure timely and accurate completion of taxrelated tasks
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Canadian accounting designation (CPA) or enrolled in the CPA Indepth tax program
- Previous experience in financial services or tax preparation preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and general accounting principles
- Proficiency in using TaxPrep (Personal, Corporate, Trust, and Forms) is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary:
$37,948.15-$90,000.04 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Commute:
- Toronto, ON (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Toronto, ON: Relocate before starting work (required)
