- Support administration of the site Surface Project Control Program in collaboration with the Capital Portfolio Manager
- Manage forecasting requirements across the portfolio, working closely with Project Managers
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual forecasting accuracy targets
- Assist Project Managers with development and execution of capital projects using Planisware software
- Monitor and control project costs
- Develop reports detailing portfolio progress
- Lead and facilitate meetings and presentations at all levels of management
- Support change order and contingency management
- Actively manage annual portfolio cashflow for both annual and multi-year budgets
- Troubleshoot financial topics within various systems and software
- Continuously improve portfolio management processes and systems
- Manage project accruals, cost reconciliation, and closeout activities
- Escalate concerns, issues, and risks to appropriate management
- Engage with project stakeholders and report progress to management
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9-80 schedule
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 9-hour days (45 hours)
- Week 2: Monday to Wednesday, 9-hour days; Thursday, 8 hours (35 hours).
- Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience; potash industry experience is an asset
- Maintenance, project, or operational experience at an operating facility or heavy industrial site is considered an asset
- Proficiency in software including Microsoft Excel, Planisware, Enterprise Asset Management Systems (Oracle), and Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Exceptional organizational skills and flexibility in managing changing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex software and financial issues
