    Marketing Manager - TISSOT
    As the Marketing Manager, the position will be responsible for supporting the Marketing efforts in Canada including but not limited to: responsible for project management (work-back) and weekly meeting coordination, preparation of Annual marketing objectives, strategies and development of annual master marketing plan, develop and maintain annual marketing budget, oversee elements of approved co-op plans to ensure plans are executed, and manage execution elements of the brands events.

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare Annual marketing objectives, strategies and development of annual master marketing plan.
  • Work with a broad cross-functional team to manage and execute marketing, advertising and sales programs.
  • Recap and analysis of marketing programs inclusive of sales results.
  • Collaborate with Brand Manager to ensure communication related to new product launches and degree support is shared with Sales Reps and Trainer/Merchandiser.
  • Negotiation of marketing and media programs with vendors.
  • Track competitive marketplace and report results.
  • POS management (in store displays, visuals, managing roll-out of new displays, online website layouts, etc.)
  • Collaborate with HQ team in Switzerland for marketing activities, local events, displays, trade show participation, etc.
  • Work with ad agencies as needed for local and national marketing activities
  • Providing marketing support to sales managers for independent retailers as well as big chain retailers
  • Act as brand liaison for PR activities and updates, coordinating all public relations activities
  • Provide monthly reports to HQ and additional ad hoc reports as requested
  • Develop and maintain annual marketing budget
  • Create and Manage monthly budget reports such as project sheets, IOs, POs and make sure all marketing related expenses are tracked
  • Oversee approval processes for brand spending with the finance department.
  • Oversee elements of approved co-op plans to ensure plans are appropriately executed as defined and report results for use in future programs.
  • Ensure sign-off of the Annual Co-op Marketing Plan.
  • Manage execution elements of Brand Events such as project management (work-back) and weekly meeting coordination.
  • Responsible to be the liaison with event agency regarding furniture, displays, creative etc.
  • Provide guidance and instructions to dotted line reports (Sales and Administration Coordinator)
  • All other duties assigned by Management

  • Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business required
  • At least 5 plus years in the marketing field or a similar role is required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Powerpoint) with an ability to learn company specific programs and software.
  • Advanced Excel formulas, Pivots, Vlookups, Functions, etc.
  • Must have experience with SAP, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is highly desired.
  • Must have the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to sustain level of professionalism; friendly demeanor
  • Prior experience in a luxury goods organization is a plus.
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Must be able to demonstrated an ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
  • Must be able to operate with flexibility in the presence of shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong self-motivation, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
  • Must be willing and able to travel on behalf of the brand up to 25% of the time
