    You as a Civil Concrete Superintendent will:

    • Manage all on-site concrete construction activities on a daily basis and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, construction documents, construction planning, scheduling and finances.
    • Assist management in the development of the construction plan and provide support for procurement of all required equipment and materials.
    • Provide technical direction to work crews as needed; ensure work is performed to applicable QA/QC standards and according to drawings and specifications.
    • Take the lead on productivity issues and monitor work performance of employees and subcontractors; promote an atmosphere that allows less experienced working to grow.
    • Report construction progress and advise management of potential problems, work interference or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts. Is this the right role for you?
      • A minimum of 10 years concrete/formwork, and civil earthworks construction experience with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
      • Strong knowledge of applicable standards, means and methods of construction.
      • Ability to accurately read and comprehend blueprints and other technical drawings.
      • Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II, and Leadership for Safety Excellence
      • Travel is required with this position; candidate must have a valid drivers license, and a reliable means of transportation. A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
