_ Corporate Access & Sales Assistant_

How does the role impact the organization?

What will your role be responsible for?

  • Work closely with the Corporate Access Specialist and Sales team to identify opportunities for corporate access, including deal and nondeal roadshows, conferences, hybrid events, conferences, seminars, investor tours, and analyst marketing days
  • Manage itineraries, create and update marketing materials including presentations
  • Coordinate logistics for inhouse events, including meeting room bookings, catering arrangements, AV requirements, and recordkeeping.
  • Monitor and report on investor feedback and market trends to help team members make informed decisions
  • Assist Conference & Special Events Coordinators with field trips, forums, symposiums and conferences
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of investors, including their investment criteria and preferences while creating account activity reports as requested
  • Create account activity reports as requested.
  • Manage logistics for inhouse events including meeting room bookings, catering arrangements, AV requirements and recordkeeping
  • Analyze corporate access activity on an ongoing basis to proactively provide feedback and suggestions to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Assist the Sales, Trading, Research and Corporate Access teams in providing timely, confidential and professional service to all clients both internal and external
  • Other duties as assigned which may include helping route callers on the trading desk, assisting with travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, etc.

What do we expect from you?

_ To qualify for this opportunity you possess:_

Knowledge of

  • Basic understanding of the capital markets, institutional clients, and corporate clients
  • Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry
  • CRM tools (e.g. Ipreo/BigDough) considered an asset

Skill in

  • Professionalism with superior organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving

Ability to

  • Manage direct contact with clients: senior corporate executives & investors
  • Handle multiple timesensitive tasks with accuracy
  • Work within deadlines in a dynamic, fastpaced, and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
  • A positive, enthusiastic and energetic attitude
  • Communicate proficiently in French is considered an asset
  • Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the executive and take initiative
  • Meticulous attention to detail in tasks, scheduling, and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing professional development

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

  • Postsecondary education.
  • 5+ years of experience in an executive support role within institutional sales, corporate access, or investor relations or project management
  • Keen interest in capital markets and investor relations.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients
