Role and Responsibilities of the warehouse and logistics coordinator

Responsible for All Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handling
Responsible for maintaining high level of inventory integrity through regular cycle counts and vendor returns
Strength in process improvements and strong trouble shooting skills
Lead by example and represent the corporation in a professional manner
Uphold our Core Values and Ethics with every interaction
Inspire teammates towards strategic initiatives and operational objectives
Generously listen, communicate, collaborate and influence
Act in a safe manner, following safety guidelines at the Profit Centre and at all customer locations
Carry out inventory control to ensure inventories are at optimal levels
Report and analyze data and present to senior managers when necessary

Requirements of the warehouse coordinator:

Forklift experience and license
Preferred
Previous experience in shipping / receiving department
Preferred
Previous experience in working in a medium to large warehouse
Preferred
Possess a strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
Drive to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, sound business judgement and the capacity for continued growth and development
Create and nurture a positive team environment, inspiring all teammates to do their best work to achieve the highest levels of customer and teammate satisfaction
High energy with strong communication skills
Strong desire to strive for operational excellence
Understand inventory control processes
Able to learn and operate applicable software systems used to process orders and manage projects
Willing to invest a minimum of 40+ hours in personal training and development annually
